NFL legends Tom Brady and Eli Manning traded playful jabs when signing one of Manning’s New York Giants jerseys.
“F–k off,” Brady wrote after he received the Giants jersey first.
“Good game,” Manning responded once he signed his jersey afterwards.
The history between the two quarterbacks is well-known, as two of Brady’s three career losses in the Super Bowl occurred against Manning-led Giants teams. This included Super Bowl 42, as New York defeated the New England Patriots as a wild card team and spoiled the Patriots’ undefeated season.
Brady has revealed that the loss stuck with him, admitting in 2021 that he would trade two of his seven championships to go 19-0 and defeat the Giants to complete the perfect season.
Manning has also taken the chance to remind his former rival about the losses on several occasions. When he was absent for Brady’s roast on Netflix in May, the two-time Super Bowl MVP still had some fun at the Patriots legend’s expense.
While their playing days are behind them, there doesn’t appear to be any love lost between Brady and Manning.
