Caitlin Clark has continued on her hot streak, and this time, it comes in a heated matchup against the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky.

During the game, she was caught saying that the Sky had her “f*cked up” in a game that saw a lot of physical play and even had a cheap shot against Clark in the fourth quarter when she was dribbling down the court that sent her flying.

Of course, though, in traditional Caitlin Clark fashion, she rose above all the drama and delivered an amazing performance to help her team 100-81 win.

In 32 minutes played, she dropped 31 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds while shooting .556 from the three-point and .571 in field goal percentage. It’s certainly one of the best performances she has put on this season, even against fellow Rookie of the Year candidate Angel Reese.

Because of these two great rookies, it seems as though a pretty big rivalry has formed between the Sjy and Fever, as this isn’t the first major incident to happen between the two teams this year. Chennedy Carter of the Sky was seen earlier chirping and being physical with Clark in a matchup.

Caitlin Clark Is Having An All-Time Rookie Season

This year, Clark is leading all rookies in several important statistics. She ranks first in points per game, third in rebounds per game, first in assists per game, first in steals per game, and first in player efficiency rating.

However, one poor aspect of her game that can’t be overlooked is her turnovers. Right now, she averages 5.4 turnovers per game, with the next closest rookie sitting at 2.9. In fact, she has the most turnovers all-time by any rookie, with 174.

Angel Reese has made her feelings on the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year race very clear.

Reese and former college rival Caitlin Clark have been battling for the prestigious accolade since the beginning of the season, yet they have both insisted that they do not care about it.

The forward, who suited up for the Chicago Sky against Clark and the Indiana Fever on Friday night,  was asked about it again ahead of the clash and reiterated her stance, also claiming that the erstwhile Iowa star isn’t concerned with it either.

“We don’t either care about the Rookie of the Year,” she declared. “I think you guys have made it a big thing.

“So just continue just to work within our team, we both wanna, we’ve been waiting to win, and that’s what we’ve done in our collegiate career, we played against each other in two numerous last year and the year before in the March Madness tournament so we’re just trying to do whatever it takes to win, that’s what’s important right now.”

Caitlin Clark Said Pretty Much The Same Thing About Herself And Angel ReeseClark said something similar during her own media availability on Friday.

“I think me and Angel would both give you the same answer. You don’t wake up and think about individual awards,” she said. “I know that’s what all of you think we do… That’s what everybody wants to make this about.

“Both of our teams are competing for playoff spots. That’s our main focus. That’s a selfish thing to just care about an individual award, and she would give you the same exact answer.”

The Fever beat the Sky pretty soundly on the night, blowing them out 100-81, with Clark scoring a game-high 31 points.

Reese, meanwhile, recorded another double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
