A short-and-sweet clip of retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady meeting with Dallas Cowboys’ star Micah Parsons at AT&T Stadium has gone viral.
Brady attended the Cowboys’ preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday. The seven-time Super Bowl champion, of course, is now part owner of the Raiders after purchasing a minority stake in the club earlier this year.
Parsons came over to meet the three-time league MVP on the sidelines before the game. There, the 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year pointed at Brady and told others, “He owes me. He owes me.”
That led to a hilarious response from Brady, who told Parsons, “I don’t owe you anything. You hit me too much. I don’t owe you (expletive.”
Brady actually has a point there. In three career meetings against TB12, Parsons racked up a trio of sacks and five quarterback hits. He had two sacks in the Cowboys’ Week 1 opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, and another on Brady in Dallas’ NFC Wild Card Round showdown.
Though Brady’s Bucs won the first two meetings against Parsons’ Cowboys, it was Dallas who got the last laugh by sending the NFL icon into retirement with a 31-14 win in the Wild Card Round. Brady announced his retirement from football on Feb. 1.
Dallas wrapped up preseason play with a 31-16 victory over Brady’s Raiders. Dallas will open their 2023 season with a Week 1 road game against the longtime rival New York Giants, while the Raiders will visit the AFC West foe Denver Broncos.
