Tom Brady Made It Clear He Was Done With The Tampa Bay Buccaneers During Postgame Press Conference (VIDEO)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady speaking post-game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady offered a significant hint that he is done with the franchise following the team’s ugly Wild Card Round Loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys defeated the Buccaneer 31-14 on Monday night to punch their ticket to the NFC Divisional Round, where they’ll meet Brock Purdy and the red-hot San Francisco 49ers. With Brady’s contract set to expire, it feels as though his two options are a) retirement or b) sign elsewhere.

In his post-game press conference, the seven-time Super Bowl champion seemingly hinted that he won’t be back with Tampa Bay next year.

Here’s what Brady had to say in his post-game press conference to reporters.

“I just want to say thank you guys for everything this year. I really appreciate all your effort. And I know it’s hard for you guys, too. It’s hard for us players to make it through, and you guys got a tough job. And I appreciate all that you guys do to cover us and everyone who watches and [is] a big fan of the sport. We’re very grateful for everyone’s support. And, you know, hopefully, you know, I love this organization. It’s a great place to be. I love everyone for welcoming me, all you regulars. And just very grateful for the respect, and I hope I gave the same thing back to you guys. So thank you very much.”

Brady announced his retirement following the Bucs’ loss to the eventual Super Bowl 56 champion Los Angeles Rams in last year’s NFC Divisional Round. Just over a month later, however, Brady announced he was returning for another season.

With his contract set to expire, only time will tell if Brady returns to the Buccaneers, retires or opts to sign somewhere else in 2023.
