Tom Brady has been spotted in his shiny, new megayacht, having hit the water in Florida this past Sunday.
Brady, who announced his retirement from football just over a month ago, appears to be enjoying life at the moment, though fresh rumors over a possible return have emerged.
Per TMZ, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was spending time on his new toy named “TW12VE ANGELS,” a 77-foot Wajer superyacht, along with some friends in a Hollywood, Florida marina. The vessel which is a bigger version of the Wajer 55S he bought in 2020 and named “Viva a Vida” in honor of his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen’s environmental conservation initiative.
The 45-year-old announced he would be upgrading to the $6 million Wajer 77 in May 2021. The boat was manufactured the following year and was registered last February.
TMZ says the new Wajer 77 is “like a hotel on water” and can accommodate nine people comfortably, sleeping and all. Brady noted it would be used for trips to the Bahamas.
“With a little bit bigger boat, for us, the 77 allows us to sleep overnight really comfortably and those weekend trips would be really something,” he said back then. “That would be great memories for our family for years to come.”
He also said he would be keeping the name “Viva a Vida” but his split with Gisele likely got him to change his mind.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner has revealed he will be taking a year off and will start his job as a FOX analyst in 2024. He has the looks of a man with plenty to do until then, with new cats and yachts, plus the temptation of one final run at another championship.
