For the first time in what seems like weeks, Tom Brady had a smile on his face and is actually happy.
His personal life might be in shambles, but at least he got a win on the field. On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback became the first player in NFL history to reach 100,000 passing yards.
Even better than that record was Brady engineering a last-minute comeback to steal a 16-13 victory and snap the Bucs’ three-game losing streak, dropping the reigning champions two games below .500.
After the game, Brady had one simple NSFW message:
The win was not pretty but it helped elevate Tampa Bay’s slumping offense at home. The win also proved very big as it put the Bucs back in first place in the NFC South.
While the 2022 season has been a disappointment from a performance standpoint, it can still be salvaged and it just might lead to something much bigger later on.
Brady’s combination of longevity and all-time greatness is truly remarkable.
