Fans were shocked when Taylor Swift changed her signature look for dinner in Sydney’s Surry Hills on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old pop princess got rid of her stylishly styled blonde hair and wore a golden head of naturally curly hair that fell over her shoulders.
In comparison to the fiery red lipstick she often wears on stage, the Pennsylvania native wore a more subdued makeup and lipstick look.
Taylor also got rid of the bright and colourful stage clothes she wore in Melbourne last week. Instead, she wore a black top without sleeves and a tan skirt for a more casual look.
For her off-duty look, the “Shake It Off” singer added a delicate necklace and a shiny black belt to cinch her waist.
Even though she was wearing something very different from what she wore on the Eras Tour, Taylor still looked very confident as she waved to the crowd.
As Swift walked to a waiting car, hordes of fans tried to get a glimpse of her. She looked like the perfect low-key beauty.
On Tuesday night, she stopped traffic in Sydney when she went to dinner at an Italian trattoria in the middle of the city.
The 34-year-old world superstar shocked people at Pellegrino 2000, a neighbourhood trattoria in Surry Hills.
The restaurant was named NSW’s No. 1 in 2022. It is the second location opened by famous chefs Daniel Pepperell and Michael Cliff, along with sommelier Andy Tyson. They also run the popular Potts Point restaurant Bistrot 916.
Pellegrino 2000 has a lot of famous fans, such as Sylvia Jeffreys from Channel Nine, Melissa Leong from MasterChef Australia, Samantha Armytage from Farmer Wants a Wife, Kate Ritchie from radio, Emma Lyon from cricket WAG, and Abbie Chatfield from podcasting.
The popular eatery calls itself a “neighbourhood trattoria” and is known for its Italian food and wine.
It is known that Swift didn’t book the whole place and that she ate with other paying customers.
With a brown leather skirt and a simple black gipsy top, Swift looked like she belonged in a hipster neighbourhood on Tuesday night.
Last week, Swift played to the biggest crowd of her career in Melbourne. From Friday, February 23 to Monday, February 26, she will have four shows in Sydney.
