The WNBA’s All-Star Weekend has concluded, with Team WNBA defeating Team USA 117-109 thanks to excellent performances from Arike Ogunbowale, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.
With an exciting WNBA All-Star Weekend in the books, the Indiana Fever rookie shared an Instagram post with snapshots from her first WNBA All-Star selection in just her rookie season.
Fellow WNBA All-Stars Arike Ogunbowale and Aliyah Boston offered their support for the rookie sensation with comments on the post.
“tha future!,” All-Star game MVP Arike Ogunbowale commented.
“My favorite hooper fr,” Clark’s teammate and fellow All-Star Aliyah Boston added.
Ogunbowale finished with a WNBA All-Star game record of 34 points, adding six assists, three rebounds and two steals. Boston added four points, shooting 2-3 from the field.

Caitlin Clark breaks WNBA All-Star Game rookie record
Caitlin Clark impressed in her first All-Star Game, putting her electric passing ability on display.
Clark finished with a WNBA All-Star rookie record of 10 assists in the 117-109 upset over Team USA. The superstar point guard finished just two assists shy of breaking Sue Bird’s All-Star game record of 11 assists in 2017.
“Oh, it’s Sues? Then I’m breaking it,” Clark told to the broadcast. “She’s been talking crap all game. Then I’m breaking it. If it’s anybody else, they can keep it, not Sue Bird. Thank you for telling me that; that’s really important.”
However, Clark warmed the bench for most of the second half, managing 10 assists for the game, meaning Bird’s All-Star game record lives to see another season.
Clark averaged 17.1 points, 8.2 assists, and 5.8 rebounds before the All-Star break, while shooting 32.7% from behind the arc. Clark set a WNBA record with 19 assists in her final game before the All-Star break, while also adding 24 points and six rebounds and shooting 53 percent from the field.
As expected, Clark is showing flashes of greatness early in her career as she looks to help get the Indiana Fever to the playoffs.
Simone Biles incurred the wrath of NFL fans with her fashion choices Saturday as she watched her Chicago Bears husband, Jonathan Owens, suit up.
Fresh off dazzling the crowds in Paris with three gold medals and one silver, the Olympic gymnast caught some NFL preseason action as she cheered on her beau at the Bears’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
However, eagle-eyed NFL fans were left enraged as the 27-year-old committed a football fashion faux pas.
Standing on the sidelines at Soldier Field, the Olympic legend was spotted wearing an oversized jacket with photos of her NFL husband printed in black and white.
However, the various snaps featured Owens in action for the Green Bay Packers – the Bears’ longstanding rivals and his former team. To make matters worse, a large Packers logo stood out on the shoulder pad.

As she strolled the sidelines, Biles was also sporting a protective boot on her left foot from a calf injury she endured at the Olympics. She topped off the look with a pair of reflective silver shades, a black Prada bucket hat and a Balenciaga purse.
Despite her attempts to make a touching and supportive gesture towards Owens, Biles found herself wading into one of the league’s fiercest rivalries and fans were far from impressed.
‘Simone Biles should be stripped of all her medals after wearing Packers gear while cheering for the Bears,’ one social media user posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
‘Yeah yeah I get it, her husband played for the packers and it’s an Owens themed jacket, but this is just wrong.’
Others echoed the sentiment, questioning Biles’ seemingly oblivious football knowledge.
‘With all due respect, Simone Biles gotta throw that jacket in the trash ASAP,’ another claimed. ‘How did she get in with that?’
‘She’s obviously supporting her husband Jonathan Owens and she’s one of the greatest Olympians so she gets a pass…but it’s still one of the oldest rivalries in all of football & she’s rocking #GoPackGo logos lol,’ posted The Athletic’s Chase Daniel.
‘Release her hubby now!’ one particularly furious Bears fan chimed in, while another added, ‘It’s ridiculously unaware of your surroundings and insulting to her husband.’
Did Simone Biles DISRESPECT Bears fans by wearing a packers jersey?

Football fans took to social media after they were left furious with her game-day fit
Owens played one season in Green Bay last year before making the move down Lake Michigan to Chicago earlier this year.
As his other half geared up for her quest for gold in Paris, the safety agreed a two-year deal with the Bears believed to be worth $4.5million in March.
The gymnast appeared elated with her partner’s move, celebrating the deal in a series of tweets.
‘CHICAGO HERE HE COMES’, she posted before appearing to reveal that she does not plan to make the permanent move with her man.
‘I’m so excited about not having a connecting flight to go and see my husband hahahaha’, she wrote in a follow-up message.
However, despite her initial joy, amid decorating herself with more Olympic medals, it seems Biles has not had time to update her game-day wardrobe.
Owens appears to have settled into his new NFL chapter in Chicago with the franchise even allowing him five days off from preseason training so he could make the journey to Paris to watch his wife at the Olympics.
