Taylor Swift is riding high on the charts after releasing her album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).
Not only did the album debut at No. 1 with the largest digital and LP sales of the year, it was also one of four albums by Taylor Swift to enter the top 10 of Billboard’s album chart.
Taylor Swift is the first female singer to achieve this feat in the entire six-decade history of the album chart. She is one of three artists to achieve this feat (the other two male artists are Herb Alpert and Prince).

Taylor Swift also set a record as the female artist with the most number one albums in history. She currently has dozens of albums, surpassing Barbra Streisand, the female singer who had 11 number one albums.
Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) topped the Billboard 200. The three other albums Taylor Swift has in her quartet of top 10 wins are Midnights (2022) at No. 5, Lover (2019) at No. 7, and Folklore (2020) ) 10th.
Two artists with four albums in the top 10 include Herb Alpert and Prince. Alpert achieved that feat in 1966 while he was still alive. Meanwhile, this record came to Prince in 2016, when he passed away.
Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) also marks the highest-grossing debut of Taylor Swift’s three re-released albums to date, in a campaign to re-record all of the albums she released with her label. old Big Machine.

The album Red (Taylor’s Version) is currently second, with 605,000 downloads at the end of 2021. The first album in the remake series Fearless (Taylor’s Version) had 291,000 downloads at the beginning of 2021.
Sales of the album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) in the first week amounted to 507,000 copies. Of which, LP disc sales accounted for 268,500 copies. Billboard said this was the second-best sales week for an LP album. The only album with a better opening weekend in the past 32 years is Swift’s Midnights, which sold 575,000 LPs in October 2022.
The overall sales of Speak Now of 1.58 million copies in its first week, including streams and LPs, were the largest since Midnights also by Taylor Swift.
