It’s a cruel summer for anyone who hasn’t spent the season attending one of Taylor Swift’s sold-out shows on the European leg of her billion-dollar-grossing Eras Tour. While the songstress spent the weekend performing under the balmy Italian sun in Milan, her friends who made the trans-Atlantic journey to join her abroad have shared never-before-seen glimpses into how Swift spends her time in between shows.
Indeed, Brittany Mahomes took to Instagram on July 16 to share a peek of her double date with Swift, Travis Kelce and her Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes from their time in Amsterdam. After professing her love for grey skies and cab rides in the 2016 single “London Boy” of her seventh studio album Lover, the songstress embraced the codes of the English capital through her romantic 18th-century-inspired Vivienne Westwood ensemble.
More fitting for dinners near the Thames than a double date out on the city’s canals, Swift opted for a form-fitting dress and graphic corset designed by the late-fashion maven’s husband and current creative director of the eponymous luxuriate, Andreas Kronthaler.

Designed for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, Swift’s 1989 blue dress is a contemporary rendering of a design that originated in the brand’s 1997 ‘Vive La Bagatelle’ collection. As the house revealed, the Sunday dress draws inspiration from high-society women of 18th-century salon culture, showcasing a sculpted, corset-inspired silhouette that falls into a midi-length finish, complete with the signature orb embroidered at the hip. Similar to how the piece was styled in the lookbook, Swift paired a boned corset featuring the revised MacAndy tartan pattern underneath.

She completed the ensemble with Vivienne Westwood’s sweet heart-shaped tote in a burgundy croc finish and canary yellow platform mules. Mahomes, who has become Swift’s BFF “WAG” since she began dating the Tight End, dressed more casually, albeit equally luxurious, in a sequin two-piece pyjama set and bejewelled accessories from Prada.
The Mahomes joined Kelce in the stands during the performance where Swift adorably serenaded him with a tear-jerking surprise song set. Swift dedicated a medley to their relationship, playing a mash-up of “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)”, “So High School” and “Everything Has Changed”. As Mahomes said in her caption: “A time was had”
