Ryan Reynolds says that if anyone else were to take over as Deadpool, it would be Taylor Swift because of her humor “That’s a superpower that I don’t know that she shows everyone too often: She’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.”-lh

Ryan Reynolds is clearing up “once and for all” the rumors that Taylor Swift will make a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine

Swifties have been adamant that the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer would appear in the Marvel Studios film due to her friendship with Reynolds.

“I will say once and for all that the cameo thing with Taylor,” the actor told E! News, adding, “because she’s our friend—that is not in this film.”

However, Reynolds noted that he thinks Swift would be a good replacement for him if he ever passed on the role to someone else.

“I always do say that if anyone ever were to take over the role of Deadpool, actually Taylor would be very good,” Reynolds said. “Because that’s a superpower that I don’t know that she shows everyone too often: She’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.”

Reynolds reignited the Swift cameo rumors in the superhero film when he shared a teaser for Deadpool & Wolverine channeling the singer’s Evermore album cover.

The closeness between Reynolds and Swift has made fans speculate that the singer could appear in Deadpool & Wolverine. Swift’s “All Too Well” music video was shot at Reynolds’ and Lively’s home and Reynolds made a cameo in Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video.

EW recently reported that Swift didn’t make a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. Director Shawn Levy said that the film has many cameos, telling the same outlet, “We didn’t want any of the cameos or characters to be the story of the movie. But they are peppered in throughout. There’s a lot of characters. The internet is a delight of rumors about the multitude of character cameos that are in this movie. Some rumors are true, some are way off base.”

Another exciting cameo has been confirmed in Deadpool & Wolverine’s latest teaser.

Marvel shared another sneak peek into the highly anticipated movie, which is set to hit cinemas next week. In an Instagram post, the new teaser video kicked off with Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) declaring: “Let’s give the people what they came for.”

The latest cameo was revealed, as Loki’s Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) appeared on screen.

“I’m going to show you something huge,” B-15 stated in the video. “I don’t think you’re supposed to say that,” replied Deadpool.

The brief exchange wasn’t lost on fans, as the comments were flooded with excitement for the character’s appearance.

“B 15 sheeeeesh we bout to go crazy!!” wrote one. “Yoo Hunter B15 is back!!!!!! ” said another. While a third added: “hunter b-15 first x-23 now b-15 wth slow down with these cameo reveals ”

Dafne Keen’s X-23 first appeared in 2017’s Logan and her return was recently confirmed in Deadpool & Wolverine’s final trailer.

The trailer featured a flashback clip from Logan, before Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) tells an unseen person in the present day: “You got the wrong guy.”

As the mysterious figure turns around, she is revealed to be X-23. “You were always the wrong guy… until you weren’t,” she replies.

Though some fans were pleased with the characters’ confirmed return, others felt the cameos would have been more impactful if kept a secret.

“@marvelstudios STOP PUTTING OUT UPCOMING CAMEOS PLEASE. Let the audience decide at this point” one fan commented. “Stop spoiling the movie, @marvel Should have kept B-15 and Dafne for the big screens,” echoed another.
