Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady may no longer be married, but the love for each other is clearly still there.
Tom Brady’s second retirement announcement did not just come from him. He had some help from a very familiar person. Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, reportedly helped him come to the difficult decision to say goodbye to his NFL days for good.
A source told Us Weekly that she has been “a real rock.”
The exes “talked this through before he came to the final decision,” the insider said.

Brady confirmed earlier this month that he would be retiring for real this time, which is in reference to him retiring in 2022 and then returning to the league 40 days later. Before the 2022 regular season, Page Six exclusively reported how Brady and Bündchen had engaged in a series of arguments over his decision to unretire.
Just a few weeks later in late October, they would divorce each other after 13 years of marriage.
Brady spent the first 20 seasons of his career in New England, where he won six Super Bowls with the Patriots. He joined the Buccaneers in 2020 and won what would be his last Super Bowl in 2021.
Brady also confirmed he’s going to wait until 2024 before sliding into Fox Sports’ top NFL booth. The quarterback signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with the network last spring.
Both share two children together.
