Gisele Bündchen clearly had another man waiting for her to sign those divorce papers, because she is already showing the world the new man in her life. On Saturday, the model was spotted having dinner with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente and her two children in Costa Rica.
Bündchen and Valente have known each other at least since last year. In February, Bündchen shared that she was taking self-defense classes with Valente and his brothers.
On Instagram, she wrote a glowing review of their training: “I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox the better. I feel stronger, more confidence [sic] and empowered since I started practicing self-defense. I feel it’s an important skill for all, but specially for us women… Thank you @ValenteBrothers for being awesome teachers and making training so much fun.”
Something about the timing of this relationship and how fast the divorce went through has Tom Brady questioning everything.
Reps for Gisele have denied that they are dating, but the Tampa Bay Bucs QB is not buying it at all.
“Gisele Bündchen is getting super close to a handsome MMA teacher … and sources connected to Tom are questioning the timing,” TMZ Sports reported.
TMZ Sports is reporting Brady is not thrilled about this news.
“A source close to Tom is not buying it, asking why this Miami guy is in Costa Rica with her. The source added, “It always seemed weird she just one day abruptly ended the marriage.”
In October, Bündchen hired a divorce lawyer and left a telling comment under an Instagram post about “inconsistent partners.” By the end of the month, she was fully done as she wrote, “With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
Brady released a slightly different statement of his own. “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” the quarterback wrote. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”
Brady and Bundchen are free to date whomever they please, but the timing of this makes you wonder if something was going on behind the scenes that pushed them away from each other.
