Is Tom Brady a hilarious guy? He seems to think so.
According to recent reports, NFL icon Tom Brady has developed a plan for a new career in stand-up comedy, but many in his inner circle are trying to talk him out of doing so.
“NFL legend Tom Brady has drawn up a game plan for a new career in stand-up comedy but his inner circle has been trying to talk him out of it, RadarOnline.com has learned,” the report states.
“The Tampa Bay Buc’s ego inflated when Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Rita Moreno gushed over him in the recent comedy flick 80 for Brady, and sources said the experience left him feeling like an all-pro comic.” https://t.co/eGbgVKqwPe
According to RadarOnline, one of their sources who heard the football star’s stuff reportedly stated, “Tom was a terrific quarterback, but he needs to toss this idea before it’s too late.”
“The ladies were super nice to him and he did a nice job reading professionally written material in a small part – but he’ll be playing in a whole different league if he takes up the stand-up stage,” claimed the source.
“He does a great impersonation of former teammate Rob Gronkowski – and his over-the-top Boston accent is hilarious,” said the insider.
Brady usually has most of his social media posts go viral, but that is because of who he is. Being social media funny and actually standing in front of people and delivering joke after joke are two completely different things.
Hopefully, he does not pursue this and just goes with his broadcasting career. He decided to delay his $375 million Fox Sports contract until the 2024 season.
Brady is still fresh off his divorce from his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. The two went their separate ways after 13 years of marriage after they announced the paperwork had gone through back in October.
