REPORT: Pro Bowl Superstar Who New York Jets Recently Traded For Hasn’t Reported To Team Or Even Spoken To Head Coach Robert Saleh Yet

The trade of Haason Reddick to the New York Jets from the Philadelphia Eagles was one of the team’s more surprising offseason transactions, and things are already off to a bad start.

The New York Jets mandatory minicamp began today, and Haason Reddick was reportedly the only player who did not show up after he had already made the decision to skip the voluntary portion of the offseason.

In addition, Reddick has reportedly had zero contact with New York Jets head coach Robert Salah since he was traded to the team.

That is a massive problem for a new incoming player who will be vital to the team’s success.

ESPN reports that his two-month absence from voluntary minicamp cost him a $250,000 workout bonus.

They further added that if the New York Jets linebacker decides to blow off the minicamp, it will result in more than $50,000 in fines.

For what it’s worth, head coach Robert Saleh has stated he expects Haason Reddick to attend despite having zero contact with the two-time Pro Bowl selection.
