REPORT: Greg Olsen Set To Lose His Job As FOX’s No. 1 NFL Analyst

Greg Olsen reportedly makes $10 million a year as Fox’s lead commentator, a figure that will drop to $3 million this year.

When Tom Brady decided to push off the start of his broadcasting career until the fall of 2024, perhaps no one in the world was happier than Greg Olsen.

That happiness will now turn to sadness as he will be bumped from his job once he’s moved to the No. 2 team.

Olsen has been the No. 1 color analyst for FOX’s NFL coverage for the past two seasons.

Olsen will call playoff games for FOX, with this year’s NFC Championship Game likely being his last as the top analyst.

Losing the money is not all that bad as Olsen made north of $70 million in NFL career earnings across his 14-year tenure in the league, per Spotrac.

Furthermore, there’s no guarantee the three-time Pro Bowl selection will ever be demoted to FOX’s No. 2 team.

Olsen has a clause in his contract that allows him to break free from FOX if he can find a No. 1 job elsewhere. There’s also a chance Brady never goes through with his broadcasting plans as he seems to be enjoying spending so much free time with his young children.

Brady’s deal with FOX is worth $375 million over 10 years.
