In the past few weeks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been going through a personal hell at home with his marriage to Brazilian top model, Gisele Bündchen. Everything seems to be falling apart after reports that the two have hired lawyers to begin their divorce proceedings.

In fact, new reports state Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are getting “ready for a fight” as the Brazilian fashion model is believed to have hired legal powerhouse Tom Sasser.

A partner at Sasser, Cestero & Roy, the attorney is famous for working with clients such as Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren in their high-profile split.

“Things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers,” an insider spilled, before clarifying that “Tom and Gisele are not battling over the kids, they both want joint custody.”

But it will take some time to divide their immense wealth and property all over the world,” the source added.”

Bündchen and Brady have two children together.

Sasser also represented Jeff Gordon in his divorce from wife Brooke.

The 42-year-old model and the 45-year-old NFL pro have been living separately since they had an “epic” fight that inspired Bündchen to leave Florida and spend some time in Costa Rica.

“I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be,” said a source.

Tom Brady coming out of retirement seems to be the catalyst that paved the way for their relationship to fall apart.

“There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids,” an insider told us at the time. “They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind.”

Despite this, Brady is remaining loyal to hsi team.

“I love the sport, I love the teammates, and I want to go do a good job for this team like I always have,” he said during a recent press conference. “So, no retirement in my future.”
