A video of Chicago Sky shooting guard Chennedy Carter being pestered by a man outside the team hotel in Washington has surfaced online following multiple player complaints.
Several Sky players took to social media to vent about being harassed by a man while getting off the bus and on the way to their hotel on Wednesday night.

“Finding out our teams hotel to pull with a camera as we get off the bus and put it in my teammates face & HARASS her is NASTY WORK. this really is outta control and needs to STOP.” Angel Reese tweeted.
“WOW!!! Thank GOD for security. My teammate being harassed at our hotel is insane! Couldn’t even step off the bus!!!” Isabelle Harrison added.
A clip has since surfaced online showing Carter being questioned by an unknown man who asks whether she reached out to Caitlin Clark after Saturday’s foul. A security guard gets in his way and puts his hands in front of the camera.
The original video was deleted after the Sky players accused the man of editing it. But you can see it from someone else here:
Forward Michaela Onyenwere made claims of the players being called “Ghetto b*****s” by the man in question.
Chennedy Carter Was Specifically Targeted
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the man was escorted away by security and was not arrested.
The publication also reports that Chennedy Carter was specifically targeted by the individual after he approached the Sky’s team bus with a camera while the players were getting off.
Team general manager Jeff Paliocca told the Sun-Times the situation was de-escalated and that police were not called to the hotel.
The Sky travel with several bodyguards who go everywhere with players due to increased security measures implemented by the team this year.
