There have been several reports about retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady dating actress Reese Witherspoon. We now have an answer on that matter.
In October, Brady and Gisele Bündchen announced that they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage. Last month Witherspoon announced that she and husband Jim Toth had divorced after 11 years of marriage.
A representative of Witherspoon’s, however, told Us Weekly that she is not dating the seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback. The rep said, that the “rumors are completely false.” And per Fox News Digital, Witherspoon “denied any rumor of dating as the rumors are completely false.”
Witherspoon was previously married to One Life to Live actor Ryan Phillippe (1999 to 2007). They had two children during their marriage, a daughter and a son. Witherspoon and Toth, who got married in 2011, had a son together.
Brady has a son from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. With Bündchen, he had a son and a daughter. Brady and Bündchen agreed to joint custody of their children.
The 45-year-old Brady announced his second NFL retirement on Feb. 1, one year after he initially announced that he was walking away from the game. The three-time league MVP announced last month that he has become part owner of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, who are owned by Las Vegas Raiders’ owner Mark Davis.
Brady also signed a 10-year, $375 million with FOX Sports to serve as an NFL analyst. Brady isn’t expected to begin that deal until the 2024 season. He will work on the network’s top broadcast team with sideline reporter Erin Andrews and play-by-play voice Kevin Burkhardt.
