Jackson Mahomes, the controversial little brother of Patrick Mahomes, did not seem too concerned that someone threatened to shoot the Kansas City Chiefs QB at a concert. What was Jackson doing at the time? Driving a Lamborghini in LA, according to his braggadocious Instagram video.
Watch Jackson Mahomes’ expensive LA vacation
Jackson, 24, posted a recap video of his “48 hours in LA,” which began by driving a Range Rover to a private jet, which he swapped for the Lambo when he landed. He also visited exclusive restaurants, attended a concert and showed a fire dancer in the lavish video.
Not worried about shooting threat toward Patrick Mahomes
The timing of the post was strange, given the threats that stunned Chiefs Kingdom at a Morgan Wallen concert the night before, where KC stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones were in attendance. An Illinois man threatened to shoot Mahomes and Kelce in a social media post, but was arrested before anything went awry.
Jackson’s sister-in-law, Brittany Mahomes, enjoyed the show anyway, according to her own dazzling Instagram post. She has come under fire in the past for being protective of Jackson, notably by Swifties who did not appreciate the presence of the accused sexual criminal in the same suite as Taylor Swift while she watched Kelce’s games last season.
Jackson Mahomes ignores the haters
The younger Mahomes lack of awareness on social media and when interacting with the likes of Brittany, Taylor and Jason Kelce have always made him a target of trolls online. “I get bullied a lot but I’m still here,” reads his TikTok bio.
But he couldn’t resist the temptation to post his latest luxurious adventure in Los Angeles, Lamborghini and all, despite the backlash that usually follows and the circumstances surrounding his brother’s safety the night before. The haters won’t stay off Jackson’s back, but he probably couldn’t hear them over the roaring engine.
He went from being a solid quarterback to fighting for his life. It seemed like his career was over until he made an incredible return to the NFL. The former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback showed the result of his surgically repaired leg, and it is leaving an impact on everyone that sees it.
“Probably should’ve put some sunscreen on it,” Smith captioned his photo and people can see exactly how his leg is now, after he nearly lost, and his life. On Sunday, November 18, 2018, the quarterback of the then-called Washington Redskins suffered a sack, two Texans defenders fell on him and Smith suffered a fractured tibia and fibula in his right leg.
He immediately underwent surgery, but the problem is that by the following Wednesday and Thursday the complications reached a point where the doctors were already fighting for his life as a priority.
He could have lost more than is leg
An infection had developed in the operated leg, and they had to perform several surgeries, removing a lot of skin and muscle tissue. The doctors would do everything they could to save his leg. To play again would be a dream. It came true
The uncertainty of Alex’s wife, Elizabeth, reached the point where she asked the team doctor, Robin West, if it would be better to cut off the leg and ensure that the player left the hospital alive.
After 17 surgeries and a rehabilitation of almost a year and a half, Alex was cleared by doctors to return to training. However, it was not until August 2020 when Washington activated Smith, but he did not train at the same pace as his teammates.
Alex still had to wear a special titanium brace to protect his leg after the severe injury and in October 11, in a game against the Rams, Smith came out as a substitute for quarterback Kyle Allen, who had to leave due to injury and Alex entered a game for the first time since November 2018. He completed 9 of 17 passes for 37 yards and then led Washington to the playoffs.
