With Iowa up by one point and only a couple of seconds left, Aaliyah Edwards was called for an offensive foul for a moving screen. LeBron James and many others reacted in a stunned manner.

It was a questionable call that ended up deciding the outcome of the game. Paige Bueckers had received the ball and had time to make a play. She may have ended up missing her shot, but we weren’t able to find out.

It’s a call that will be talked about for a while, particularly if Clark and Iowa end up beating South Carolina in the final game. It shouldn’t taint their legacy, but it would to some fans.

Caitlin Clark struggled ot get her shot going thanks to an impressive defensive effort from Nika Muhl, but she contributed nine rebounds and seven assists while guiding Iowa to the big game once again.
