From naming her debut album On The 6, referencing the 6 subway line, to her famous 2002 track, Jenny From The Block, which pays tribute to her childhood, the area has been a huge part of JLo’s identity in her rise to fame.
A clip from the 54-year-old’s new documentary, This Is Me… Now, has made the rounds on TikTok and has left viewers extremely confused as she reflected on “running up and down the block” with her hair out as a teenager.
In the video, Jennifer appeared to have just finished a workout of some sort and was seen running her hands through her wild and messy hair – which prompted Jenny to remember a childhood memory, from The Bronx of course.

“I like taking my hair out like this – it reminds me like when I was 16 in the Bronx, running up and down the block,” she told the camera.
“That crazy little girl who used to f**king be wild, no limits, all dreams,” the Love Don’t Cost a Thing singer reminisced as she smoldered into the distance.
The TikTok clip has since amassed 11.9 million views and over 13,000 comments, most of which is of fans mocking her for talking about her childhood.
