Sophia, 19, shared a few photos on Instagram to document the weekend, showing her and her sister, Isabella, having brunch together. The college student uploaded a photo of Isabella from across the table as they both indulged in scrambled eggs and avocado toast.
Isabella, who has been battling medulloblastoma, was seen wearing a white, long-sleeved top with a matching baseball cap and gold jewelry.
She smiled while looking down at her food and seemingly holding a salt or pepper shaker over the dish.
“Weekend was cute,” Sophia declared in the caption.
Other pics in the post showed Sophia posing in a scenic, grassy location, as well as hanging on an outdoor couch after just going for a dip in the water.
Isabella also commented back on the post, “Cute.”
Sophia has been publicly supporting her sister on her journey since revealing her brain tumor diagnosis on Good Morning America earlier this year.
“I’m so lucky to have the most amazing sister and best friend in the world,” Sophia wrote on Instagram after the announcement.
“The last few months have been so much harder than we could have ever imagined, but it’s made me realize just how strong you are. You inspire me and I’m so proud of you. Us forever,” she added.
Last month, she also participated in Duke University’s Shave and Buzz event, where she helped raise money for young adults who are battling cancer.
HAPPY DAYS
Last week, Isabella appeared to be in good spirits as she shared a video from the holiday weekend.
The Instagram S tory video showed the star running through an open yard while wearing a matching sweatshirt and sweatpants set.
While it was shot from afar, Michael’s daughter had a big smile on her face as she turned toward the camera and lifted her arms straight in the air in excitement.
On January 11, 2024, Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella appeared on Good Morning America and revealed that she is battling medulloblastoma.
Medulloblastoma is a cancerous brain tumor found in the lower back part of the brain, known as the cerebellum. It is the second most common brain tumor in children, however, it can develop at any age.
The condition starts with a growth of cells, known as a tumor, and can quickly expand to other parts of the brain. The cells spread through the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord but do not usually spread to other parts of the body, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Signs and symptoms of medulloblastoma, which can be diagnosed through a neurological exam or image testing, include:
Medulloblastoma can be treated with surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and in some cases, clinical trials. The National Cancer Institute reports a 5-year survival rate of 72.1%.
“Happy MDW,” she wrote in text over the clip.
The clip came shortly after she informed her followers that she had undergone her third round of chemo in a YouTube vlog.
Isabella has been documenting her health journey with followers online.

She posted her first vlog in April after starting chemo two months before at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in North Carolina.
In the less than two-minute video update at the end of May, Isabella said she was feeling better and was spending most of her time sleeping.
She added that she was just “bored,” but “not in as much pain.”
With only one more round of chemotherapy to go, she told fans that she was both excited and nervous.
Isabella’s most recent vlog showed her baking “belated birthday” cupcakes with her friend Dallas, appearing to be in a good more once more as the two maneuvered around the kitchen.
Both Isabella and Sophia were seen blowing out their candles as friends and family sang Happy Birthday.
Michael even made an appearance at the very end of the vlog, hugging both of his daughters before continuing to crack jokes from behind the camera.
The former NFL star has been by Isabella’s side throughout her journey, initially saying on GMA, “I’m extremely proud.”
“She’s always been strong and this is something that is so personal that I didn’t know that it would be something that she would want to share,” he added.
