Gisele Bündchen got vulnerable on social media Saturday by sharing a cryptic quote about personal growth more than a year after her divorce from Tom Brady.gisele/Instagram
“Even with all of these challenges inner-work is worth it,” the quote continued. “This active form of self-love can radically change your life.”
The quote was by poet Yung Pueblo.
Along with the quote, Bündchen — who lost her mother to cancer in January — shared a photo of herself gazing at a vivid sunset from a balcony that overlooked a waterside city and mountains.
Last month, she also shared a glimpse of her personal healing journey by telling fans via a social media Q&A that she’s “focusing” on the mantra, “Don’t take things personally.”
The tidbit came about a month after Brady, 46, shared a mysterious quote about a “lying cheating heart” by Muhammad Ali online.
Just before that, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel shared another cryptic message speaking about heartbreak and “silent struggles.”
Along with the quote, she shared a snapshot of herself looking out at a stunning sunset.
“Everyone we meet has faced or is facing challenges in life that we know nothing about,” she began.
“We don’t see the silent struggles, the fear, the obstacles, the heartbreaks, or their daily ups and downs.”
The quote continued, “As we go about our daily routine, we may miss seeing someone needing a simple, kind word or gesture. I believe an act of kindness sparks more kindness, and this is what we most need in the world today.
Bündchen and Brady finalized their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.gisele/Instagram
