Eli Manning was at the Pro Bowl Games over the weekend and made sure Tom Brady caught a stray in the midst of his rap battle with Supa Hot Fire.
Eli Manning went viral with a hilarious rap battle verse. You read that correctly.
Manning had everybody laughing in delight after he walked in and broke out this verse:
“I’m Eli Manning. I’m nice. Tom Brady’s the GOAT? Sike, I beat him twice!”
The rap went viral on social media among fans.
“Hold me back, hold me back, hold me back,” Manning could be seeing as everybody went nuts.
On the strength of a late fourth-quarter drive led by Manning, the Giants beat the 12.5 point-favored, undefeated New England Patriots 17–14 at Super Bowl XLII.
The New England Patriots had finished the regular season 16-0 and were heavily favored to win the game. They were the first seed in the AFC, whereas the Giants were the fifth seed from the NFC.
Had the Patriots won the game, they would have matched the Miami Dolphins who went undefeated in the 1972 season and lifted the Lombardi Trophy.
Unfortunately for them, Manning engineered the game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter, featuring an improbable ‘Helmet Catch’ by David Tyree.
