Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is one of the world’s most popular and recognizable bachelors on the market right now.
Last month, Brady and his wife of Gisele Bündchen, announced that they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage. Brady and Bündchen agreed to joint custody on their son, Benjamin, and their daughter, Vivian.
Since the divorce announcement, Bündchen has been linked to jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. On Tuesday, Bündchen was seen moving into her new Miami home with some assistance from Valente.
The New York Post spoke to several models and NESN college sports reporter Kendra Middleton who expressed interest in seeing Brady. Middleton, who claimed that Brady was her first football crush, had this to say:
“Obviously, he’s very physically attractive, but his work ethic is awesome — I love it,” said Middleton, who now lives in Boston. “Like, he’s so dedicated to his craft that he doesn’t even eat tomatoes, you know what I mean?
Tom’s entire identity for a couple of decades now has been football. And I’m sure (divorce) is scary for someone who doesn’t have experience being around their kids all the time. Maybe this is what Tom needs to build those relationships. His future is family.”
The 45-year-old Brady hasn’t been linked to anyone since his divorce was finalized. But of course, the most decorated and accomplished NFL player in history has all the time in the world to revisit the dating world (if he hasn’t already).
It has been widely reported that Brady’s decision to come out of retirement from football was a key factor in the divorce. In a recent interview with Elle, Bündchen admitted she had concerns over the game of football, citing its violence.
Brady announced his retirement from football on Feb. 1, more than a week after the Bucs were eliminated by the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round. 40 days later, however, Brady announced that he was coming back for a 23rd season.
Coming off their bye week, Brady and the 5-5 Bucs will try to get back above .500 when they visit the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. Brady has completed 66 percent of his pass attempts this season for 2,805 yards, 12 touchdowns and only two interceptions.
