Caitlin Clark’s Teammate Asked Her an Unexpected Personal Favor After Fever vs. Liberty

Caitlin Clark’s Teammate Asked Her an Unexpected Personal Favor After Fever vs. Liberty.

Caitlin Clark was the highlight of the weekend in sports during the Indiana Fever’s 83-78 upset win over the New York Liberty.

Not only did the Fever pick up their biggest win of the season, but Clark made all sorts of WNBA history, including becoming the first rookie in league history to record a triple-double.

Clark recorded team highs in points (19), rebounds (12), and assists (13). The former Iowa Hawkeyes star also broke Sue Bird’s record for most points/assists double-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history with her fourth such game.

After the game, Fever forward Katie Lou Samuelson asked Clark for a favor in response to her first triple-double. It is safe to say that this request was very random.

“I know you got a triple-double, but can you babysit after this?” Samuelson asked Clark on social media.

“Elite babysitter,” Clark responded.

It seems that in every game, Clark is breaking a different record. Saturday was no different. She has made a compelling case for WNBA Rookie of the Year, but Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese is right behind her.

Samuelson was recently moved to the starting lineup to take Kristy Wallace’s place. In 21 games played, with a majority of them coming off the bench, Samuelson is averaging 5.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
