After the game, a reporter asked Clark about the team’s “three straight home wins.” Clark quickly corrected him by holding up four fingers and saying, “four.” Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, who were also at the press conference, burst out laughing, clearly enjoying Clark’s cheeky response.
The Indiana Fever picked up their fourth straight win at home for the first time since 2015 on Wednesday with a victory over the Washington Mystics. Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana in scoring with 22 points apiece, while star rookie Caitlin Clark recorded 18 points.
