Going back to their days in the NCAA with the Iowa Hawkeyes going up against the LSU Tigers in the NCAA Tournament, it was clear that Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese weren’t huge fans of each other.

They had words for one another on the court, and while each managed to notch a win at the college level, it is Clark who has the most recent success on the floor, with her  Indiana Fever beating Reese’s Chicago Sky on Saturday.

There has been a lot of controversy to come from that game, with Clark getting shoved to the ground by one of Reese’s teammates, Chennedy Carter, and video showing Reese celebrating the dirty play on the sideline.

Reese was also fined after the game for not showing up to her media availability, where the common theory is that she was dodging questions about her actions and relationship in regards to Clark.

Now we’ve got another layer to the story, as social media likes from Clark’s boyfriend have painted a picture of more hate, with Connor McCaffrey favoriting a bunch of tweets putting down Reese, and calling her classless, among other things.

Another tweet that Clark’s boyfriend favorited claimed that Reese was not good at basketball, but is just finding success because of her size.

As this drama continues to unfold, it will undoubtedly build up the rivalry between the two even further, and provide a ton of entertainment in the years to come.
