BREAKING: Tom Brady Threatening Lawsuit Against Comedians Who Created A.I. Of Him Doing Stand-Up Comedy

Tom Brady in uniform. Fake Tom Brady

Mark Tom Brady down as a person who does not want his voice and likenes being used in the new world order of artificial intelligence.

Earlier this month, social media was buzzing after a generated version of the retired NFL quarterback appeared in a new comedy special curated by the artificial intelligence program Dudesy.

The video featured an artificial Brady — which sounds eerily similar to the future $375 million voice of Fox Sports — mouthing off jokes about football and dating.

“Anybody on the apps right now? I’m recently single and thinking about getting on them, but here’s the problem. I’ve never been on them, I don’t really know what I’m doing. Someone sent me a message on [the dating app] Bumble. She said, ‘You look just like Tom Brady,’ and I said, ‘I am Tom Brady,’ she said, ‘Prove it,’ so I went to her house and let a little air out of all of her footballs,” the faux Brady said.

It may have been funny at the time, but it is no laughing matter this week.

The two guys who posted the video made it known on a recent podcast that they received a cease and desist letter from the attorneys of Tom Brady.

Via TMZ:

Will Sasso and Chad Kultgen explained the situation on their “Dudesy” podcast on Tuesday … saying that shortly after they helped put up the fake Brady comedy special on their Patreon page earlier this month — they received a cease and desist letter from the G.O.A.T.’s attorneys.”

According to the comedians who helped create a comedy special featuring an AI-generated Tom Brady this month … the NFL legend threatened legal action over it all, forcing them to wipe it from the internet this week. https://t.co/oU1qSCIerV— TMZ Sports (@TMZ_Sports) April 20, 2023

“The guys said Brady’s lawyers claimed in the letter that the AI version of the future Hall of Famer “blatantly violates” the former quarterback’s “rights” … and if they didn’t meet a list of demands — which included taking down the video — a lawsuit would be forthcoming.

The comedians stated they took down the video, but further added that the situation wouldn’t prevent them from making further attempts at AI comedy.

The seven-time Super Bowl champ is currently in the midst of enjoying his econd retirement from the NFL after a bad season in 2022 that saw him divorce from wife Gisele Bündchen in October after 13 years of marriage.

The Tampa Bay Bucs barely made the playoffs with a losing record and then got eliminated in the Wild Card round by the Dallas Cowboys. It was his first ever loss to the franchise.

He made it known he will not be calling games for Fox Sports until the 2024 season.
