Kaskade, the official live DJ for Super Bowl 58, has the green light from the NFL to play Taylor Swift during the big game today.
Tiësto was initially scheduled to be the live DJ for the big game, but he unfortunately had to cancel his performance because of a family emergency. Kaskade was subsequently announced as Tiësto’s replacement.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Kaskade revealed that he has free control on his music for Super Bowl 58 “as long as the content is clean.” That means he is more than welcome to play Swift music inside Allegiant Stadium:
Kaskade says he was given free reign on the night — as long as the content is clean, obvi — but no one put a bug in his ear to go out of his way to include anything from the Grammy award-winning artist’s discography.
Swift will attend Super bowl 58 to support her beau, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers. Swift made the trip back into the United States yesterday following a concert in Tokyo, which is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas.
