It looks like Ben Affleck was blowing off some steam while talking to Jennifer Garner earlier this week.
On Thursday, December 9, the former spouses — who officially divorced in 2018 — were photographed together for an outing in West Hollywood. In a paparazzi video, Affleck was reportedly seen flailing his arms around in what appeared to be a very animated conversation.
However, it seems Affleck’s upset wasn’t targeted at his ex-wife, as the brunette babe kept a calm composure and was even seen smiling during their exchange, per Page Six.
The exes, both 49, have been able to keep things amicable for the sake of their shared children: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 12 and Samuel, 9.
As OK! previously reported, the co-parents are planning on putting up a united front during the holidays while the Gone Girl actor’s girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, tags along.
“Despite being totally opposites, Jennifer Garner & Jennifer Lopez have bonded over the children,” a source revealed. “It might sound strange to spend the holidays with your ex-husband’s new girlfriend, but Jennifer doesn’t care what other people think.”
Affleck, Garner and their kiddos have become a blended family with J.Lo and her 13-year-old twins Maximilian and Emmy — whom she shares with ex-husband March Anthony.
“If the kids can get along then why can’t the parents?,” a source previously questioned. “I doubt you are ever going to see Jennifer pop up in a J.Lo music video or hanging out at a Versace fashion show together. Just like the chances of J.Lo baking cookies with Jennifer before heading to book club together is very unlikely.”
Affleck started things up again with the “On the Floor” songstress earlier this year after breaking off their engagement nearly 20 years ago. And as the former flames’ rekindled romance appeared to be blossoming, Garner took the initiative to get to know Lopez.
“Once it was clear that Ben and Lopez were serious about getting back together, Jennifer [Garner] reached out,” another source spilled following J.Lo’s split from ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez. “When you have children with an ex and that person starts dating again, all three of your are linked together like it or not.
