Speculation about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ‘s separation has only been underscored by the actor’s reported move to a massive mansion near his ex-wife.
Just two blocks from Jennifer Garner ‘s home, Ben is said to have rented out the new home at $100,000 per month. He’ll be living it up with a sprawling 10,000 square feet. The large house includes a private tennis court and pool.
Ben will have an outdoor patio and a balcony overlooking the backyard property. The house is also nestled behind shrubbery and trees, blocking the sight of the main road and adding a bit of privacy. This multi-floor house could be his escape from the tense situation at home with JLo.
It’s not just Ben who has his eyes set on a new pad. Jennifer was also spotted poking around Beverly Hills checking out a few properties. The rumorus really escalated when the pair weren’t seen together at the Met Gala. In fact, they’re rarely seen by each other’s sides at all these days.
Jennifer was seen alone yet again at the Atlas red carpet. It didn’t take long before insider said that Ben had “come to his senses” about the situation. A source told Page Six : “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
Another source told InTouch magazine: “The writing is on the wall – it’s over. They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame! They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
The couple originally started dating in 2001 which kicked of a tumultuous and lengthy love story that may not be coming to an end. It only took one year for Ben to ask for her hand in marriage. Unfortunately, days before their wedding, they called off their engagement and split.
About 20 years later, the pair got back together after a lengthy separation that included other relationships for the two. In 2022, they got married in a last minute wedding in Las Vegas. JLo chronicled the storyline in a recent album-short film combo.
