The film star was photographed flashing a rare smile in Brentwood, Los Angeles, on Saturday.
In the photos, Ben, 51, was joined by his son Samuel, 12, as they went to visit the pre-teen’s mom. Ben shares Samuel, alongside two other children, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52, whom he was married to from 2005 to 2018.
Samuel stayed in his pajamas for the short walk to his mom’s house, smiling as he chatted to his dad and played with a frisbee. Ben, meanwhile, looked equally casual in a gray tee with a lightning bolt graphic. The television actor paired the T-shirt with baggy black shorts, white socks, and Nike sneakers.
Just days ago, Ben was caught looking very somber as he smoked a cigarette in his car, but he looked to be in higher spirits during his walk. The Hollywood icon flashed a rare smile during the stroll, seemingly enjoying the sunny weather and quality time with his youngest child. Despite Ben’s moment of relaxation, multiple sources have claimed that he’s headed for divorce from his wife Jennifer Lopez, 54.
Weeks be fore Ben headed to his ex-wife’s house, an insider shared that he no longer lives with his current wife. The source claimed that Ben moved out of their shared 47million mansion in Los Angeles “several weeks ago” after months of problems.
“They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour,” the insider said. A different source added Ben and his wife were in the middle of intense marital problems and could go for weeks without seeing each other.
“It’s over; they’re headed for a divorce and for once [Ben’s] not to blame. He’s focusing on his work and kids now.
“They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” they claimed to InTouch.
DIFFERENT PEOPLE
As the insider suggested, Ben and JLo reportedly have very different outlooks on life. One example of their opposite attitudes became clear when Jennifer filmed her documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told.
“Things that are private, I’d always felt are sacred and special. So this was something of an adjustment for me,” Ben said of his appearance in the Prime Video doc.
Last week, a celebrity source suggested that the differences between Ben and his wife had reached a breaking point.
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would.
“He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work,” the source divulged.
