Actor Ben Affleck was pictured driving to rehab yesterday by his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
TMZ has stated that Jennifer held an intervention after a month of wild partying. He is reportedly checked into the Canyon live-in rehab facility, in Malibu where he will stay for an “extended amount of time.”
Apparently, Ben “fell off the wagon,” a few weeks ago and has “gotten progressively worse.”
Last year, Ben revealed on his Facebook page that he completed a stint in rehab.
He wrote:
“I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront.
“I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.’
“I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do.”
We wish him the very best.
The Batman star, 46, headed for a treatment centre yesterday evening after his wife of ten years went to his LA home and begged him to get help, TMZ reports.
Witnesses said Jen arrived with “a lawyer and a Bible” and they they left together after talks at his £15million mansion on Wednesday night. It is reported Ben knew he needed help and wanted the treatment.
It is reported Ben was driven to the Canyon live-in rehab facility in Malibu and will remain there for an ‘extended period of time’.
Friends of Ben told Page Six he’s been in a bad place since breaking up with longtime girlfriend Lindsay Shookus.
An insider said: “He’s having a tough time. It’s unclear what his relationship is with Lindsay and he still has his relationship with Jen.
