Time and again, “Ben and the Jens” are a shining example of coparenting done well. And believe us when we say, we know how hard coparenting can be (we see it again and again on Reddit). So we weren’t surprised when another source stepped forward and told US Weekly that their coparenting is continuing to go well, even as Jennifer Garner rekindles flames with her on-again-off-again boyfriend John Miller.
Garner shares Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11 with ex-husband Ben Affleck who is currently married to Jennifer Lopez. Lopez shares 15-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony. And Miller shares kids Quest, 15 and Violet, 13 with ex-wife Caroline Campbell. That’s a lot of cooks — and kids — in the kitchen.
And yet, according to an insider, things go so seamlessly because of how “mature” the couples are and because they work hard to have one thing in mind:
“Their children [are] the focus of those relationships,” the source said.
And when the kids — rather than any baggage-clad adults — are the focus, it’s easier for things to go smoothly. The source also shared with the media outlet that Affleck and Miller are on good terms.

“Ben is super down-to-earth, and so is John,” an insider exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “They have a mutual respect for each other and are always very friendly with one another.”
A second source confirmed that sentiment, saying that the two have “a lot of mutual admiration and respect.”
Earlier this month, Affleck and Garner had a top-notch coparenting moment. The two attended their son Samuel’s basketball game together and looked so happy, laughing and cheering on their tween. It was such a sweet family outing that only confirms what the sources have been saying: These two have coparenting in the bag.
