Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is off to a historic start to her WNBA career. Entering the league with unparalleled expectations, it is fair to say Clark has lived up to the hype and even exceeded it in certain ways.

Entering Thursday’s game against the Seattle Storm, Clark and the Fever had won four of their last five games. While this level of team success is always the primary focus, it is hard to ignore the individual production of Clark and the impact it has had on her team’s impressive turnaround.

While everybody knows about Clark’s deep shooting ability, she is already one of the best passers in the league. Averaging 6.6 assists per game entering play on Thursday, Clark ranked fourth in the WNBA in this category, and first among rookies.

The Fever still have a lot of work to do in order to earn a spot in the WNBA playoffs, but a player like Clark can certainly help them make a run at the postseason.
