Jennifer Garner Revealed the Single Reason Why We May Never See Her at the Met Gala Again

When it comes to the Met Gala, you can almost always count on certain celebrities to show up every year in a dazzling outfit. However, there are also a few celebrities that are “one and done” with the A-list packed occasion, and Jennifer Garner is in the latter.

On Dec 11, the Alias alum was featured in Vogue’s “Beauty Secrets” series, where she took fans through her entire, simple beauty routine. You can see the full video below:

And during the video, she spilled the answer to a question many fans have wondered: “Why hasn’t she been back to the Met Gala in over 15 years?!” Well, she gave a simple reason: it’s a bit too nerve-wracking.

While explaining why she’s only been to the Met Gala “exactly one time” (back in 2007), she said, “I found it a little scary, so I haven’t been back!” (From what we’ve heard, that makes sense, to be honest).

And for those who need a reminder, the 13 Going On 30 superstar went to the 2007 Met Gala, the Poiret: King of Fashion-themed evening, where she wore a stunning, vibrant red Valentino gown that she called “magical.”

This news comes weeks after the 2024 Met Gala theme of Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion was announced. While we already know quite a few of our favorite stars will be in attendance, it’s quite clear Garner won’t be attending this gala as well.
