Angel Reese’s Mom Has Blunt Message For Everyone About Caitlin Clark-lh

Angel Reese took some heat on social media this weekend, when she appeared to take a shot at fellow WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark.

The Chicago Sky forward appeared to call out Clark and the Indiana Fever following one of her regular season games. Reese later deleted the message.

“And that’s on getting a WIN in a packed area not just ’cause of one player on our charter flight,” she wrote on social media, before deleting the message.

Many believed that Reese was taking a shot at Clark, who has gotten a ton of attention despite the Indiana Fever’s difficult start to the season. But Reese’s mom says that’s not the case.

May 25, 2024; Chicago, Illinois, USA; Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (5) looks to shoot against the Connecticut Sun during the second half of a WNBA game at Wintrust Arena.

“She was not attacking CC but bc you & the rest of those ‘children of the corn’ folks thought she was & once again sending her racist & vile comments she did.

Her comment was directed towards the media but of course you’re about clicks,” Angel Reese the mom wrote on her social media.

Reese, the WNBA player, believes that there are many people who deserve credit for the league’s growth.

“It’s not just one person, I think people don’t realize that (because) the narrative out there is that just one person changing the game,” she said Thursday.

“It’s a lot of us — me, Kamilla (Cardoso ), there’s Cameron (Brink), Rickea (Jackson). There’s so many great players and it’s been long overdue and just being able to see that our impact has been able to change the game.
